Paul Nash is a seasoned international hospitality executive with a foundation in luxury hotels, as well as strategic development.
With global expertise in food and beverage, Paul's career has taken him throughout the U.S., the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. While running Restaurant Petrus Hong Kong, Paul was elected to membership of the Academie de Champagne. Paul has enjoyed leadership roles at a number of globally-recognized hotels including The Dorchester London, The Island Shangri-La Hong Kong, The Beverly Wilshire in Los Angeles, and most recently, The St. Regis New York.
Membership and Events Director
Before joining WS New York, Heather Whitney’s career spanned more than two decades with New York City’s Union Square Hospitality Group. Her most recent role was Director of Special Events and Partnerships at The Modern, in association with The Museum of Modern Art. Heather and her team were responsible for creating over 5,000 memorable events.
In addition to overseeing events at WS New York, Heather and the Membership Services team will serve as the main point of contact with the Club.
For more than a decade as Chef de Cuisine of Thomas Keller’s Per Se, Eli Kaimeh led a kitchen renowned for both its cuisine and its dedication to excellence. During Eli’s tenure, Per Se garnered many accolades including a four-star review from The New York Times, a three-star rating from the French-based Michelin Guide, and inclusion in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants List from the UK-based Restaurant Magazine.
Earlier in his career, Eli honed his culinary skills in some of New York’s most highly-regarded restaurants including Gramercy Tavern, Tocqueville Restaurant, and Restaurant Daniel.
For the past five years, Michaël Engelmann held the role of Wine Director at The Modern in New York City, where it earned a Wine Spectator Grand Award for having one of the greatest wine lists in the world. He also helped the restaurant win its second Michelin star.
Prior to moving to New York, Michaël was the Wine Director at the Grand Award-winning Rockpool Bar & Grill in Sydney, and a sommelier at Restaurant Gary Danko in San Francisco.
Michael was voted “Best Sommelier in America” from the American Sommelier Association in 2009. In 2011, Michaël passed the Master Sommelier exam and was awarded the Krug Cup for passing all three parts on his first attempt. Michael is one of only 14 individuals in the history of the Court to accomplish this.
